Thanksgiving and the Polar Express

For Thanksgiving we went to Utah and spend a few days with my grandparents and my brother and his family. The best part of the trip was taking the kids on the Polar Express. The girls were so excited and asked numerous times leading up to the trip, "How many more days until we get to go on the train." They got to met Mrs. Claus before we got on the train.Hannah waiting by the train before we got on. All Aboard....Next stop - The North Pole!!!Grandma and Grandpa got the warmest seats on the train - right in front of the real wood burning stove. We were toasty warm.Kale, Michele and baby Hayden adopted Addy to share their seat for the ride. Our camera ran out of memory before Santa came aboard but the kids each got to talk with Santa and then he gave them each a bell from his reindeer sleigh. What a memory!!!

As for the rest of the trip - as you may recall our camera had no memory therefore we have now pictures - but we enjoyed a big Thanksgiving celebration that my grandparents graciously hosted with Cory's family. It was so much fun to get everyone together. We then had the opportunity to spend some time with Cory's family and see his grandpa and extended family that live in Utah. We also got some shopping done, Cory took his sister to the BYU football game against Utah...thanks to some friends who couldn't use their tickets. We also enjoyed a night out at the Mayan restaurant and then a trip to see the lights at temple square. We are so grateful to have family to share these special holidays with.
