Man in Training

My 14 month old already knows what you are supposed to do with the TV remote. Luckily for the rest of us he hasn't quite figured out how to change the channel, but he sure tries.

First Hair Cut

So after many months of talking about it, one day I finally took action. I loved Garrett's crazy baby hair but now the time had come to transform the craziness into "handsomeness" (and it was driving me crazy).

Addy was a good helper and entertained Garrett while I worked (very quickly).

Boise Zoo

After a few days in Sun Valley we all traveled to Boise and stayed in a hotel there for a few nights. We didn't do too much other than swim at the hotel pool but it was very fun. We did manage to make it to the zoo and it was a nice day and the animals were very active.

Pretending to be animals, there were lots of life size things for the kids to climb in or stand by that made them look like an animal.The real life size giraffe was made into a slide and the girls thought that was awesome.On the way out we saw this cute little family of geese that we watched for a long time - they were cleaning up the food court area.

(Garrett is missing because he and grandpa were taking naps in the car.) While in Boise we also had a chance to go and walk around one of there parks, which was really fun - the weather was perfect and a much needed break from the cold, wind and snow we left in Idaho Falls.

Sun Valley

Cory had a conference in Sun Valley and so we went along for a little vacation. We got to stay in the Sun Valley Resort, which was beautiful. Cory's parents met us there to enjoy some quality time with the kids...it is so nice to both be on vacation at the same time - no one has any responsibilities.

We only had one king size bed but the room was huge so the girls slept on an air mattress on the floor and Garrett slept in the walk-in closet. It was so "luxurious".

There were these beautiful swans that lived in the pond at the entrance of the hotel and you could feed them old bread from the hotel. The kids thought that it was really great until one of the swans tried to eat Addy's toe...then they wouldn't go near them without being held.
The girls and grandpa (nice horns) had fun posing with all of the animal statues around the resort and around the town of Ketchum. Garrett did really awesome for the most part, but at times all he really wanted to do was find somewhere comfy to lay down and take a nap.

The swimming pool was amazing 100 degrees year round, and we had lots of fun swimming and entertaining all the others swimming too (we were the only ones with kids). NOTE: Cory wanted me to leave this pic out because he is too white, but I told him that he is always white so why does it matter?!?
They kids enjoyed playing on the giant chair in front of one of the shops, we really enjoyed all the sites of this little resort town. But mostly it was nice to be away from the "city" (if that is what you call Idaho Falls) and enjoy some relaxation (if that is what you call vacationing with a 5, 3, and 1 year old).

Mommy's Helper

I was unloading the dishwasher one morning and Garrett decided that he would help and so he started taking the silverware out of the dishwasher and putting it in the silverware drawer. It was so darn cute and it allowed me to get the other dishes unloaded before he was done and trying to help with the plates. Now if we could just continue this helping trend through high school we would be set!

Easter with the Tucker's

Here are a few pictures of Easter weekend (the others are on my video camera and the battery is dead) I will add the rest later. We enjoyed having Cory's cousin and his family spend the weekend with us and celebrate Easter. The kids had fun and it would have been perfect if it would have just stopped snowing!!!
