Addy's 4th Birthday

Addy turned 4 in June -HOORAY!!!Look at all the fun things she got...she made out pretty good. Her cupcake cake that is supposed to look like a flower, but I was in too much of a hurry to do a very good job, but she didn't mind as long as we had pink cake.
We are so blessed to have this sweet, fun loving, mischievous, hilarious, silly, daring girl as part of our family. I can't believe how much she has grown in the last year, she has always been so tiny, but I think finally caught up. She has really become a little girl and is ready to stand up for herself now, no more letting big sister order her around. I have enjoyed watching her personality flourish as she grows and finds out more about what she likes, and what she doesn't. We love you little "Addabee"!

T-Ball 2010

Both Hannah and Addy played Tee Ball for the month of June. Hannah really figured out the game this year and enjoyed playing a lot more then in years past. It was fun to watch her improve and have fun. Addy on the other hand was only concerned about her body temperature...it seems as if the games were either too cold (most of the games were too cold) or too hot...
She of course really liked to hit the ball and run the bases, but when it was time to be out in the field she would check out...

I am not sure if she was hiding from the picture, the ball, or just the fact that she had to stand on the base and she was bored (most likely the latter)...She also found every chance she could to visit with whoever was close to her and might engage in a conversation... Another of her favorites was the cheer and the treats at the end of the game. As you can see I took on the challenge of coaching Addy's team with two of my friends. It was fun but lots of work keeping track of 12-13 3 & 4 year olds...we were all grateful there was three of us.

Where have we been?

...And so it starts the monsterous task of blogger catch-up, but I am bound and determined to get caught up, and soon. As the holidays approach us, faster then most like to admit, I know that I will have much more to blog about, and so in the lull between summer craziness and holiday craziness I am hoping to play catch-up (more for the future and my hope to remember the things we did in 2010). So Good Luck to me.... cause I am going to need it!!!

Kids Fish Free

On a cold day in June we decided to take our kids to free fishing day with some friends of ours. The girls got fishing poles last year for their birthdays and this is the first time we have ever used them, despite the promises Cory made all last summer to take them. Oh well they were still excited...
Garrett on the other hand, not so excited about fishing...he really just wanted to go swimming but his mean parents wouldn't even let him get close to the water.Hannah waiting patiently for dad to get her pole ready.Addy waiting patiently for a fish to bite....but we had no luck, not one single bite the entire time. BUMMER!The kids didn't mind though, they got balloons and other goodies and then we took them to that park to play. What more could you ask for?

While at the park Cory "convinced" me (dont know why I give into peer pressure so easily) to sit in this seat that goes in circles really fast (what a technical explanation???). Anyway I was so dizzy and a little sick , but haven't laughed that hard for a long time. Glad I could provide some entertainment to all who were there.

Hannah Kindergarten

Hannah had a great year in kindergarten, she had a class full of friends and an awesome teacher, we couldn't have asked for a better start to her schooling. This is her cute little class and a picture they took at school.
Here she is singing as part of their graduation program, it was super cute.

This is her kindergarten diploma. Her school is the Discovery Dragons.Addy is looking forward to the day when she will get a kindergarten diploma too, but for now her sister was nice enough to share.
We love, love, love Mrs. Davenport!

Garrett Randomness

Just some random things Garrett does around the house, that have made me smile. Being a big boy and coloring with his sisters...(he has finally decided that crayons really don't taste all that good).
In a diaper, with my coat AND hood on, playing soccer with a basketball...(what more is there to say).

One Sunday morning I was rushing around trying to get ready for church and this was what I found upon entering the bathroom...(he has already been bathed and was all dressed for church, but I suppose he thought he wasn't clean enough).

Hannah's Dance Recital May 2010

Hannah really enjoyed dance this year and her favorite part was performing. She really is a girly-girl and loves to be on stage dressed up with curled hair and make-up. She is fun to watch and did a really great job. The curtain call after the recital (somehow I forgot to take pictures during the actual dancing oops!)
