Birthday at Grandma's

Since we were in Washington in between the girls birthdays we had a little family birthday party for them. They made out pretty good, especially in the wardrobe department.

At Grandma's We...

... Got to see Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa, play in their motorhome and go for walks with Biscuit.

...Learned how to do the hula with Papa.

...visit with Grandma and Grandpa-Great, and go to Burger King for dinner.

...give Uncle Trae a massage - although it didn't last quite as long as he would have liked.

...Torture Sadie untile she hid in the cupboard for safety.

...found out that Garrett's bumbo makes a really fun hat.

...played beauty parlor on uncle Kale putting every clip that we own in his hair.

Grandma's house is so fun!

Hayden's Blessing

My brother Kale blessed his little baby Hayden while we were in Washington. It was so great that we were able to be there and participate in that special occasion. Congratulations Kale and Michele!

Mukilteo Beach

On our trip to Washington we spent an afternoon at a beach close to my moms house. The girls had fun climbing on the rocks and playing on the toys at the little playground. It was a bit cold to go swimming, which disappointed them. (Daddy had to stay home and go to school :(. )

They both were excited to find a crab and were looking and looking and then all the sudden my brother asked Addy what was on her foot. There was a tiny crab crawling on her foot and she freaked out and was screaming and jumping into my arms as fast as she could. We were all laughing so hard!
My happy little guy just watching everyone.After lots of convincing, especially for Addy, we got the girls to hold the crabs. Of course they are so tiny you can hardly see them on their hands.

Adelynn Kay Turns 3!

Addy turned 3 on June 22...I can't believe it has been three years already, how time flies....they change so much in such a short time I can't believe she has gone from this sweet baby to... ...this fun loving big girl. I wish they didn't have to grow up quite so fast.



Nevertheless she is three and we had a great birthday. She got some fun presents and enjoyed blowing out candles, opening her presents and eating her cake.

T-Ball 2009

Hannah decided to give t-ball a try again and she enjoyed it a lot more this year than she did last. Her team was mostly boys she was one of two girls, but she didn't mind and I think it helped her to stay focused on the game.

Her favorite part was hitting the ball and running the bases...she actually often told the coach that she wanted to sit out when they would play the field (she got in trouble from me if she did that)...all in all though it was a good season.
