Christmas PJ's
It is always so much fun to get to open one present on christmas eve and if your family is like ours that present is usually new pj's so that you can look nice on Christmas morning. Thanks to my mom my girls both got the most darling new pj's for Christmas.

The Christmas Story
The girls were so excited to act out the Christmas story as we read it on Christmas Eve. Somehow they talked Uncle Damon into being Joseph, and Uncle Conner the donkey. What good uncles!!!
Hannah thought that riding on the donkey was pretty neat!
Addy was playing the shepherd and did a fantastic job...until she decided that she too wanted to be Mary...
Hannah was a good sport to let her sister be Mary to, aren't they such good mothers!?! Baby brother will be well loved!!!
Sugar Cookies for Santa
This year we spent Christmas in Seattle with my family. It was such a whirlwind of events from the moment we arrived, as Hannah went straight to immediate care with croup, it snowed for days straight (all in all ending up with 11 1/2 inches on my parents deck), church was cancelled and my brother Kale was stuck in
Phoenix for 2 days with cancelled flights! Finally on Finally on Christmas Eve day we were able to get some of the 
s for Santa. They love to help cut the cookies out, but even more I think they like eating the cookie dough. It was lots of fun and Santa ate all that they left for him!Back to Blogging!
It just seems like there isn't enough time in the day to get everything done. Now that Christmas is over and we are back from our families houses things are supposed to calm down, right?!? Well not at our house it seems as if there are a million projects to get done before the baby comes and not the time or the energy needed to get them all done. Anyway, bare with me as I attempt to get our blog updated of all that we have done this last month.

LET IT SNOW!!!
We woke-up this morning to a blanket of white and the girls were so excited. They started asking to go outside and play at 9:00 in the morning. I held them off until 11:30 and then we got them all bundled up and sent them out.
The three musketeers!!! Hannah, Sadie and Addy played and played outside and had so much fun....
...Rolling in the snow, chasing each other...
...Making big snowballs, and little ones.... and building a snowman that mom didn't get a picture of.
Since this was Addy's first real experience with snow (last year she was too little and didn't like it) so was so funny to watch. She liked to walk and watch the snow build up on her shoes, run, jump, and fall in the snow but most of all...
...she liked to eat the snow. I think she about ate half the backyard and I could always catch her putting more in her mouth. She was hilarous to watch!!! They stayed out and played for close to and hour and a half. It was a nice break for mom and a much needed energy burner for the girls.

We spent thanksgiving in Utah with my grandparents. It was small with only 7 of us but we had a really enjoyable day, and weekend. Hannah was given the assignment to help set the table, she did a wonderful job!!!

Here the girls are eating their Thanksgiving feast, we had turkey and ham along with all of the trimmings. YUMMY!!!
About half way through the meal I look over to find that both my girls had decided that they really really liked turkey...
...the chocolate kind that is.
My grandma bought these adorable SOLID chocolate turkeys that we used for name place settings on the table, the girls thought they were cute, but that they tasted much better. Anyway we are so grateful for our families and for all they do for us. We so enjoy being with them during this time of year and we had lots of fun eating turkey, visiting and seeing the lights both at Thanksgiving Point and Temple Square (thanks to the chaos I forgot my camera both times).

Girls Night
We bought tickets two weeks early and still had to wait for a day after it was released. Anyway, we all really liked to movie and then we got to go to dinner and wander around town, because 8:30 was much too early to go home on a Saturday night with husbands in charge of the kids. It was so much fun, and a much needed break from the routine.
